This is a great read and can be highly recommended. This book constitutes the first full-length scholarly examination of King Abdullah II, based on an extensive evidentiary foundation that includes more than one hundred interviews with figures ranging from former government officials to intelligence leaders and personal acquaintances. Authored by Aaron Magid, The Most American King – Abdullah of Jordan traces Abdullah’s formative trajectory across transnational educational and military institutions, highlighting the copacetic influence of his schooling in the United States and training in the United Kingdom on his later political orientation.
