This book is yet another addition to the large number of books that aim to introduce Islam to a wide readership. Each one of these books reflects the context, the environment and the issues of the time and place in which it was written, in a style and approach unique to its author. The vast majority of these books aim to introduce Islam to non-Muslims; yet many of these serve a twin purpose, including re-introducing Islam to Muslims who are lacklustre in their commitment to Islam. Paramount in the minds of these authors are problems facing Muslims today as a result of falling away from their religion, which can only be solved by a sincere and wholehearted return to it.
