Migration to a new country, place or space is not without its challenges. It takes time for the migrant to settle down in the new environment. The impact of migration and challenges of adjustment are negotiated in variegated manner by the migrants. Some may adapt easily into the new environment while others take time to settle down and for a few others feeling home in a new place may take few decades.
