If one makes a list of the great crises of the present world, the Arab-Israeli conflict may secure the top position. The ongoing conflict and bloodshed shows the worst kind of relations between the two communities and indicates that Muslims and Jews are eternal enemies. But it is a very surprising fact that amid this hatred and violence many stories of coexistence and cooperation exist but are little known to both sides and the world. In this volume, the author has compiled some of these stories of mutual cooperation and humanity which could instill love and compassion in the hearts of both sides and could help reduce hatred and enmity between them. The book is divided into five chapters. Chapter 1 starts with the behaviour of Jews and Muslims towards each other in the early days of Islam in Madinah. Then the liberal behaviour of Muslims with the Jews in al-Andalus (Muslim Spain) is covered and compared with the condition of the Jews in Spain prior to the Muslim conquest.
