In the post Arab Spring, Tunisia, as a success story, has attracted the attention of Muslim as well as Western students of the contemporary history of the Muslim World. The other Muslim country which has equally attracted attention is Turkey. The two countries are often mentioned as models of modern Islamic statecraft.
