Palestine is one of the greatest human tragedies of current time. The way Palestinians have been deprived of their rights by the colonising Israelis is a brazen catastrophe of universal human rights. Most of the free and developed world, along with the world bodies and transnational human rights organisations like United Nations, Human Rights Watch, International Committee of the Red Cross and Amnesty International, continue to pay lip service to the perils of occupation whose brunt is daily borne by the hapless Palestinians.
