Education in children’s formative years remains hugely influential throughout their lives. It is often the narratives and ideas they are taught about the world during this period that come to shape their vision and understanding as they grow older. To that end, it is important that children are provided with useful tools and resources to help them make sense of an increasingly chaotic world. Books focusing on developing an understanding of the divine and how it links to their lives remain important in that regard. I was happy to look over the excellent children’s books sent over by the Muslim World Book Review (as was my 5-year-old!).
